Quick Quote 26500007 for Office Renovations at the Christiansburg Recreation Center

This Addendum #1 amends or supplements Quick Quote 26500007 for Office Renovations at the Christiansburg Recreation Center as indicated below.

  1. The following questions were asked during the site visit on Friday, November 6, 2025 (answers are in red):
    1. Will the wall mounted TV and all office equipment be moved or removed from the current conference room by the Town?

Yes, the wall mounted TV and all office equipment will be moved or removed from the current conference room by the Town.

  1. Will the Town remove all old light fixtures and install all new light fixtures?

Yes, the Town will do all lighting work, and all necessary electrical work as specified in the architectural drawings.

  1. Can a dumpster be located in the front of the Rec Center near Entry Door #3?

Yes, a dumpster can be located in front of the Rec Center near Entry Door #3.  There is also room in the front of the building to accommodate a working area that can be roped off from public access.

  1. Contractors are to give a separate quote for removal of the Tile Bench in the lobby.  Please use the following specifications for the Tile Bench removal:
    1. Contractor to give a separate quote for the removal of the tile bench in the Parks and Recreation lobby.
    2. Contractor to reference drawings in Attachment G.
    3. Contractor to completely remove and dispose of all material from the bench including tile, rock, brick, and concrete blocks.
    4. Contractor will finish the wall where the bench was located and paint using a color to match the adjoining walls.
    5. Contractor shall prepare the floor as needed for new flooring.  Flooring tiles and base to be provided by the Town.  If there is not enough flooring tile and base to complete the floor, then the Town will finish the flooring at their own expense at a later date.
  2. Quick Quotes that do not offer a separate quote for the removal of the Tile Bench may not be considered for the complete Office Renovation Project.
  3. All other terms and conditions in the Quick Quote remain the same.
  4. The due date and hour remains November 19, 2025, 3:00 PM, EST.
