Piute County School District is currently seeking competitive bids for asbestos abatement and disposal services at Oscarson Elementary School and Circleville Elementary School. These projects are essential precursors to scheduled demolition activities.
Attached to this letter, you will find detailed specifications prepared by Michael Kelly, Utah DAQ Card ASB-0844. We are requesting comprehensive proposals for the following two scopes of work.
Scope 1: Oscarson Elementary - Attached Document
Scope 2: Circleville Elementary - Attached Document
All bids to be submitted:
Submission Requirements
All bidding contractors must be AHERA certified with the Utah Division of Air Quality and capable of performing work under negative air pressure in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and State of Utah DAQ regulations.
Proposals must include:
Full cost breakdown for labor, materials, insurance, and disposal permits.
Verification of Utah DAQ Company licensing.
Agreement to hold bid pricing until June 1, 2027, as required by the specifications.

Piute School District will host an on-site walk through for all bidding contractors. All contractors will meet at Oscarson Elementary and then travel to Circleville Elementary.

Contractors are responsible for field-verifying all dimensions and quantities during these walk-throughs. No change orders will be granted for quantities that could have been verified during the pre-bid site visit.
