LEGAL NOTICE

IFB No. 26-20

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of the Water/Sewer Business Manager, 16C Perry Way, Newburyport, MA 01950, by 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read for the following:

IFB No. 26-20: Low Street Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon (PHB)

No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof.

Interested Bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-bid site meeting to be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. Bidders shall meet at Molin Upper Elementary School / Rupert A. Nock Middle School, 70 Low Street, Newburyport, MA 01950.

The bidding and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L Chapter 30, 39M.

Contract award is subject to the approval of the Mayor. The City reserves the right to accept or reject, in whole or in part, any or all bids or take whatever other action may be deemed necessary to be in the best interest of the City. Newburyport is an affirmative action/equal opportunity purchaser.
