Guardrail Maintenance and Repair Project

Project Description: The City of Sandy Springs is seeking a qualified contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals to complete Project T-7500, Guardrail Replacement and Maintenance, which includes repairing and replacing guardrail at nine locations identified in the approved construction plans, including removal and installation of Type W beam and Type T beam guardrail, anchors, terminals, appurtenances, and all required posts, offset blocks, hardware, grading, shoulder work, and site restoration, in accordance with current GDOT Standard Specifications as modified by the contract documents and special provisions; the contract also includes an on-call component for future guardrail repairs and replacements at additional City locations, to be performed only upon written City authorization via purchase order, work order, or written directive, with maintenance work paid using the bid unit prices in Exhibit B and certain ancillary items such as traffic control and grading subject to task order adjustments based on site conditions, market conditions, and current GDOT pay items, as reviewed and approved by the City.
