Eumeca Scroll Pumps
This Statement of Work (attached) outlines the activities required for the procurement, validation, and shipment of seven (7) Eumeca 150 m3/h scroll pumps. The pump was specially developed by Eumeca for use in ITER’s roughing pump system. The pump has been validated by the IO and is a now a commercially available pump from Eumeca. As this is a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) pump qualified for use at ITER, the listed IO Technical Specification is provided for reference only. The pumps, connectors, cabling, and pump sensors are required as part of this scope, as well as the required documentation listed in Section 7 of this Statement of Work.
Note that optional hardware scope, ten (10) additional pumps as detailed in Section 7.1.2, may be added to this scope of work if written notification is given to the Seller by the Company’s Procurement Officer (PO).
Additionally, optional scope for pump controls is detailed in Section 7.1.3, may be added to this scope of work if written notification is given to the Seller by the Company’s Procurement Officer (PO).
The pumps are QC-1, VQC-3A, SC1 (SF), and TC1A classified. While VQC-3A, the leak rates are determined to be equivalent to VQC-1 requirements [3.1.1, 3.1.2].
