Description

The Government is conducting market research to identify sources for a solution that will enable the movement of loaded 463L cargo pallets and heavy non-palletized rolling stock equipment both on and off of C-130 aircraft without the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts or other prime mover vehicles. The Government seeks to determine if there is presently a solution in the market, if a solution is already being developed, and also the trade-offs to consider when specifying its requirements for a solution. The level of security clearance and amount of foreign participation in this requirement has not been determined.
