Description

This market survey is being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to find interested firms in and around the Farmington, MN area to perform construction contracting work at the FAA’s Minneapolis Air Route Traffic Control Center.



This Market Survey is being conducted in accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.1.2 A, Market Analysis. The FAA may use information from this market survey to assist in refining its acquisition alternatives and program requirements.





The FAA is seeking interested firms for these projects. Small Businesses of all designations are strongly encouraged to express their interest in these projects.



The responses to this market survey will be used for information purposes only. This is not a screening information request for proposals of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred associated in preparation or in response to this market survey. No contract of any kind will be created as a result of this Market Survey

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Central Service Area, Chicago Office has many upcoming construction projects for the location indicated above. Project dollar values will range from $50,000 to $500,000. The scopes of work cover all major construction NAICS: general construction, electrical, mechanical, based on the potential projects listed below.



The following potential projects are currently under consideration:




  1. Replace Two (2) Chilled Water Flow Control Valves and One (1) Condenser Water Flow Control Valve.

  2. Remove and replace Epoxy Floor in the Boiler Room.

  3. Remove and replace four (4) exterior doors in Power Service Building and Maintenance Garage.

  4. Demolish existing gas heaters and replace with ten (10) new gas unit heaters.

  5. Remove and replace HU-380 Humidifier.

  6. Remove and replace AHU-12 and AHU-13 Humidifiers.

  7. Remove existing red-light and white strobe lights and replace with new dual LED lighting system.

  8. Remove and replace power panels.

  9. Remove and replace two (2) boiler vent stacks.

  10. Resurface Exterior Concrete Floor and Adjust Concrete Curb.

Highly recommended: Have completed projects for federal agencies listed in the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS) – within the last 5 years
