Description
The Department of Commerce requests proposals to provide legal support to the administrative hearing process. Legal services include reviewing, analyzing, drafting, and issuing final orders in contested cases and other administrative hearings under Minnesota Statutes Chapter 14 as delegated by the Commissioner of Commerce.
The selected Contractor will represent the Commissioner in specified administrative proceedings. It is critical for the selected Contractor to establish a strong working relationship with Commerce leadership, assigned attorneys, the Attorney General’s Office, and other Commerce staff to provide legal analysis, make recommendations and issue final decisions on administrative actions. It is also imperative for the selected Contractor to maintain a professional demeanor with all parties.
