- Summary:The Island Ford Solid Waste Transfer Station requires the rehabilitation of a section of its concrete floor. This project involves the removal and replacement of approximately 780 square feet of reinforced concrete floor. The work will include the preparation of the sub-grade, installation of epoxy-coated rebar, and the pouring of high-strength, high-wear concrete. The concrete will be air-entrained with steel fiber reinforcement, and a curing agent will be applied to allow for future epoxy coating.
