The purpose of this Invitation for Bid is to issue a purchase order with the responsive and responsible vendor that submits the lowest priced bid for the removal of two failed overhead roll-up doors located in the Eccles Center stage hallway and replace them with two smaller roll up doors. The selected vendor will provide all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to complete the project to specification.
Mandatory Walkthrough:
A mandatory walkthrough will be held to allow vendors to view the project site, take measurements, and ask questions. A representative from each bidding company must be present for their bid to be considered.

Project Description:
Remove and dispose of existing wood burning stove insert and install a Regency LRi4E Gas Fireplace Insert with Art Vignette Decorative Face in Black, Brick Liner Kit, HD Ceramic Log Set, and Backing Plate.
Scope of Work:
Remove and dispose of existing wood burning stove insert.
Install Regency LRl4E gas fireplace insert with Art Vignette decorative face in black, brick liner kit, HD ceramic log set, and backing plate.
Run new concealed gas lines with additional hookups for future gas fireplace inserts.
Install new intake and exhaust chimney liners and termination caps.
Complete all necessary electrical and control connections.
Set up, start, and test the gas fireplace insert. Program remote control thermostat and factory-installed fans to ensure proper operation and airflow.
Ensure all work meets local fire and safety codes for the state of Utah.
Testing & Completion:
Fully test and operate the new gas fireplace insert to ensure proper functionality.
Demonstrate operation of the remote-control thermostat system to the homeowner.
Warranty:
1 Year Installation Warranty on all work performed.
Bid Requirements:
Itemized quote including materials, travel, tools/tooling, equipment, rental fees, labor, and any applicable fees
Warranty details
Proof of insurance and applicable licenses with Snow College listed as additionally insured / certificate holder.
Signed Contract with Snow College
Timeline:
Start Date: As soon as possible
Please note: No additional charges will be allowed after the bid is awarded.
Evaluation of Quotes: Each bid received shall be evaluated for responsiveness in as outlined in the Utah Procurement Code. Bids submitted must comply with the specification identified in this IFB.
Multiple or alternate quotes will not be accepted. If a vendor submits multiple or alternate quotes, Snow College will only accept the bidder's primary bid and will not accept any other bids constituting multiple or alternate bids.
Snow College Purchasing may solicit other quotes via email, phone, or other methods as permitted by the Utah Procurement Code or applicable Administrative Rules.
