For multi-wildfire use, the Province requires the services of two (2) Cessna 208 Caravans. These aircraft will be used to perform multiple required duties such as but not limited to Aerial patrols, wildfire assessments, staff/equipment transportation. The aircraft will be positioned throughout Alberta depending on fire hazard and provincial requirements. The aircraft may be repositioned with minimal notice, and for indefinite periods of time.

The Province will guarantee 90 consecutive days for each aircraft in each year of the Contract over a three (3) year term. There are no guaranteed flying hours during the 90 consecutive day guarantee.

Proponents must be in possession of the tendered aircraft at the time of their Proposal submission.
