Slagles Run Floodplain Restoration Bid

Sealed Bids for the UNT to Slagle Run Floodplain Restoration will be received on PennBid ( www.PennBid.net ) only until 8:00am, prevailing time, November 17, 2025. Bids will be deemed opened following the due time and the bid results will be available for viewing at the PennBid website. Bids received after Bid opening will not be accepted. The award of contract, if any, will be made at a subsequent public meeting of the Authority, the time and place of which will be publicly announced.

Bidding and Contract Documents are online, without charge, at www.PennBid.net . Reproduction of the Bidding and Contract Documents, or their placement on web sites other than PennBid, is not permitted. All questions must be submitted through PennBid.

Bid bond or certified check for 10% of the total base bid payable to the Borough of Hanover Stormwater Authority (Owner) shall accompany each proposal, to be forfeited in liquidated damages should the bidder default in execution of the contract within 180 days after award of same. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after bid opening. Performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% the total bid amount will be required.

The Owner shall award the contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder or reject all bids within sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening; provided, however, if the award is delayed by the required approval of another governmental agency, the sale of bonds, easement acquisition or the award of a grant, the Owner shall reject all bids or award the contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder within one-hundred twenty (120) days from the date of the bid opening.

Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987) as amended.

The Borough of Hanover Stormwater Authority hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any or all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, or irregularities in any Bid.
