Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Alaska VA Health Care System (AVAHS), located in Anchorage, Alaska, has a requirement for Legionella Water Testing Services to support VA’s environmental health and safety initiatives. The services will ensure compliance with VA Directive 1061 – Prevention of Legionella Disease in Veterans Health Administration Buildings, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.



The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, transportation, and qualified personnel necessary to perform routine and as-needed Legionella testing, sampling, laboratory analysis, and reporting for multiple buildings and water systems within the Alaska VA Health Care System and associated Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).
