The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command - Armaments Center (DEVCOM-AC) has a requirement for the purchase and delivery of VxWorks WindRiver License. The Government requires VxWorks 6.9 and VxWorks 7 commercial software support and maintenance. DEVCOM-AC intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a new sole source Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract for the purchase and delivery of VxWorks WindRiver License development license to USI Electronics, 2775 West Cypress Creek Road, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. The Justification & Approval (J&A) cited brand name. Authority for this procurement falls under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonable available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization.
