Description

The purpose of this RFI is to request information to determine if your company’s products and capabilities meet our government requirement for an autonomous infusion pump. The information gathered from all companies that answer the RFI will be analyzed against the requirements to effectively identify capabilities that are available in the marketplace/industry. Both large business concerns and all categories of small business are encouraged to respond to this request. The following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code may possibly be used for this requirement: 339112, Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.



The AFMS is focused on devices that have the capability to provide autonomous medical care with the potential to enhance operational efficiency. The device will use feedback from the patient’s physiological indicators and adjust the infusion rate in real-time, ensuring the patient receives the correct amount of fluid or medication. Specific information is requested according to the RFI Response forms below. Please complete as much information as possible.
