Particulate Instruments and Gas Analyzer Parts

Sarasota County intends to award a sole source for a period of one year to Thermal Environmental Instruments LLC for the purchase of spare parts for the following Thermo Fisher Scientific brand products and spare parts:

1405 Series TEOM monitors

49i and 49iQ Ozone

49i and 49iQ Primary Standard (PS) Ozone

In the event respondents demonstrate the ability to supply the same or substantially similar products and/or services, the County may, in its sole discretion, elect to cancel this sole source and advertise a competitive solicitation.

Per correspondence from Thermo Fisher Scientific dated December 16, 2024 , Thermo Environmental Instruments, LLC is the sole manufacturer and distributor for all particulate instruments and parts for the following Thermo Fisher Scientific brand Products: 1405 Series TEOM monitors, 49i and 49iQ Ozone 49i and 49iQ Primary Standard (PS) Ozone.

Any vendor who believes they can provide the goods described in the attached sole source documentation should respond to this ISS by the date specified.
