Description
BACKGROUND: The Bay Pines VAMC currently utilizes TempTrak for the monitoring of the refrigerators and freezers temperature in the inpatient and outpatient pharmacies. We would like to expand the monitoring capabilities to the refrigerators and freezers in the rest of the B100 hospital at Bay Pines and the Lee County HCC facility.

SCOPE: Contractor shall install name brand OEM TempTrak equipment used to provide temperature monitoring. Delivery and install shall be determined post award of the contract.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS for Bay Pines VAMC:
Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, hardware, and accessories.
Contractor shall install 70 TempTrak temperature sensors for inside refrigerators and freezers.
Contractor shall install 20 TempTrak receivers in the closest data closets to the suites.
Contractor shall install 3 room pressure sensors in the inpatient pharmacy.
Contractor shall install 3 room temperature and humidity sensors in the inpatient pharmacy.
Contractor shall test new equipment for proper operation.

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS for Lee County HCC:
Contractor shall supply all labor, materials, hardware, and accessories.
Contractor shall install 24 temperature sensors for inside refrigerators and freezers.
Contractor shall install 3 TempTrak receivers in the closest data closets to the suites.
Contractor shall test new equipment for proper operation.

FUNCTIONAL & PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS for Bay Pines VAMC:
Temperature sensors for 70 refrigerators
Base station receivers for 20 data closets
Room pressure sensors for 3 rooms
Temperature and humidity sensors for 3 rooms
All sensors must be connected to and compatible with the existing TempTrak server and interface.

FUNCTIONAL & PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS for Lee County HCC:
Temperature sensors for 21 refrigerators.
Temperature sensors for 3 freezers.
Voltage sensors for 3 freezers.
Base station receivers for 3 data closets
All sensors must be connected to and compatible with the existing TempTrak server and interface.

REGULATORY: The contractor shall be responsible to ensure that all contractor employees follow guidelines set forth by OSHA, NFPA70, 70E, ASSE, and the Department of Veterans Affairs Safety and Health Requirements, and security procedures at this facility. Smoking is not permitted outside authorized areas on campus.
