City of Dickinson Museum Center Expansion

JE Dunn, as Construction Manager, is taking bids until Thursday, March 5 th , 2026 at 2:00 PM MST for the additions and renovations to Dickinson Museum Center. This project consists of a 12,000SF addition to the existing Dickinson Museum Center including additional exhibit space, paleo storage, paleo lab, office space, restrooms, common spaces, mechanical rooms, and storage spaces. There will also be renovations to the existing museum’s paleo exhibit space and restrooms along with exterior site improvements.
A pre-bid conference will be held onsite at 1:00 PM MST, Monday February 23 rd , 2026.
No bids will be accepted after 2:00 PM on the bid date. Public bid opening will be held at Dickinson City Hall, 38 1st St W, Dickinson, ND 58601 on the bid date and time listed above.
The scopes of work for which we are accepting bids are: surveying, earthwork, structural excavation, site utilities, landscaping & irrigation, selective demolition, building and site concrete, asphalt paving, masonry, structural steel & miscellaneous metals, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, casework, asphalt shingles, membrane roofing, stucco & EIFS, joint sealants and fire stopping, damp proofing; doors, frames, and hardware; overhead doors, aluminum storefronts & glazing, framing & drywall, painting, tiling, acoustical ceilings, resilient flooring and carpet, specialties, fire suppression, mechanical, and electrical.

Bids must be submitted by one of the following methods:
All bidders must be licensed for the full amount of the bid per sections. If not, the bid will be rejected, and the contract awarded to the next lowest responsible bidder.
The Bid Proposal Form and Scope of Work included in JE Dunn Front End Specifications should be filled out correctly.
After all bids are opened and read out loud, JE Dunn shall then evaluate the bids, at a later date, and determine which is the most responsible.
The Governing body reserves the right to reject any and all bids at their discretion and/or rebid the project until a satisfactory bid is received.
