Description

Join OSDBU’s First Friday training on how to use the Forecast of Contracting Opportunities Tool to discover planned procurements. This session will discuss tool features and how to take advantage of the information in the tool to assist you in navigating the federal marketplace.



Public Law (PL) 100-656, the Business Opportunity Development Reform Act of 1988, amended the Small Business Act to emphasize acquisition planning and require agencies to prepare a forecast of expected contract opportunities, including those that small businesses can perform. The Forecast of Contracting Opportunities Tool provides information on anticipated federal contracting opportunities for several agencies.

  • Utilize filters and keywords to streamline your searches

  • Understanding opportunity information and using it to your advantage
