NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) intends to establish a sole source contract with IHS Global Inc., located in Englewood, CO to provide the following:

SCOPE: Subscription services for macroeconomic forecasting, instrumental in projecting activity levels and revenue in connection with access to historical and forecast databanks, publications, and online analyses.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: These subscription services provide business intelligence and economic trends on leading indicators such as employment, gross domestic product, trade, and consumer price index. These indicators are utilized agency-wide for supporting activities in forecasting, planning and implementation of capital investments, policies, budgeting, and other various business operations within the agency

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (Port Authority), in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 USC §§ 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders or offerors that it will affirmatively ensure that for any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and no businesses will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin (including limited English proficiency), creed, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), age, or disability in consideration for an award.
