Invitation to Bid (B) Construction

Lee County, Florida, is requesting bids from qualified individuals/firms for the attached solicitation.

Scope of Work Summary:

The Lee County Board of County Commissioners seeks to contract with a qualified Vendor to provide parts, equipment, repair services, and onsite services for submersible sewage pumps and lift station equipment on an as-needed basis.

The Vendor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, and incidentals necessary to perform all work under this Agreement. Services shall include, but are not limited to, inspection, diagnosis, removal, repair, replacement, and to maintain continuous and reliable lift station operations under normal and emergency conditions.

To ensure uninterrupted operation of the County’s utilities system, and to maintain compliance with permits, regulatory requirements, and public health standards the County may, at its sole discretion, obtain services, materials, or new equipment from other vendors or sources if the Contractor (a) fails to meet performance, delivery, or reliability requirements; (b) is unable or unwilling to perform; (c) experiences labor issues, supply chain disruptions, or equipment failure; or (d) if an emergency or imminent threat to public health or safety is reasonably determined by the County. The County’s procurement of alternate services or equipment shall not constitute a breach or waiver of any rights under this Agreement.

The sealed Bids submitted are to be publicly opened at the Lee County Procurement Management Division office located at 2115 Second Street, 1st Floor, Fort Myers, Florida 33901, and read aloud for the purpose of selecting a vendor to furnish; all necessary labor, services, materials, equipment, tools, consumables, transportation, skills and incidentals required for Lee County, Fort Myers, Florida, in conformance with solicitation documents, which include technical specifications and/or a scope of work.
The Scope of Work/Specifications for this solicitation is available from https://leegov.ionwave.net. Bidders who obtain Scope of Work/Specifications from sources other than https://leegov.ionwave.net are cautioned that the solicitation package may be incomplete. The County’s official bidders list, addendum(s) and information must be obtained from https://leegov.ionwave.net. It is the bidder’s responsibility to check for posted information. The County may not accept incomplete Bids.
