CAMP MARDELA STORMWATER MANAGEMENT AND WATER QUALITY IMPROVEMENTS

RFP# CCDPC2026-02

The County Commissioners of Caroline County, on behalf of the Caroline County Department of Planning and Codes, are accepting proposals for the design of stormwater management, shoreline best management practices & water quality improvements at Camp Mardela on Watts Creek, Denton, Maryland, including:

Electronic copies of the RFP, drawings, plans, and bid forms may be obtained by email request to npearce@carolinemd.org or by accessing the County website at the following link: https://www.carolinemd.org/bids.aspx . Printed copies of the RFP, drawings, and bid forms may be obtained from the Caroline County Department of Finance at 109 Market Street, Denton, Maryland 21629. Refer to RFP# CCDPC2026-02.

A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, @ 10:00 am on-site at 301 Deep Shore Road (King Retreat Center), Denton, MD 21629. After the Pre-Bid meeting, a site walkthrough of all proposed work areas will be held. This is the bidders' opportunity to enter the private property during the bidding process. Bidders shall not enter Camp Mardela at any time during the bid process, except for the MANDATORY pre-bid meeting.

Bids must be received in the office of the Caroline County Commissioners, located at 109 Market Street, Denton, Maryland 21629, ATTENTION: Nicole Pearce, by no later than 10:00 am, Wednesday, January 14, 2026, where they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any/or all bids.
