Project Information

Sealed bids will be accepted from qualified contractors by Kenowa Hills Public Schools for the Kenowa Hills Early

Childhood Center 2026 Asbestos Abatement project.

Site Inspection

A pre-bid site inspection meeting will be held on December 8, 2025 at 4:00 PM at Kenowa Hills Early Childhood

Center, 3971 Richmond Court, NW, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49534. At this meeting bidders will be given a tour

of the site where they can become familiar with the site conditions and secure necessary measurements.

Bid Information

Bids will be received until 3:00 PM local time on December 17, 2025 at the Kenowa Hills Administration Building,

located at 2325 4 Mile Road, NW, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49544. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud

shortly after the due date and time. Bids received after the deadline will not be accepted and will be returned to

the bidder unopened.

Specifications

Specifications will be available online free of charge at http://www.northernas.com All questions regarding the

4739.

Bid Security

A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid amount is required and shall accompany the bid.

Bid security may be in the form of a bid bond issued by a qualified surety authorized to do business in the State of

Michigan, a cashier’s check, or money order payable to Kenowa Hills Public Schools. Bids may not be withdrawn

for a period of 60 days after the bid date.

Familial Disclosure

All bids shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists

between the Owner(s) or any employee of the bidder and any member of the board, intermediate school board, or

board of directors or the superintendent of the school district, or chief executive officer or the public school

academy. The District shall not accept a bid that does not include this sworn and notarized disclosure statement.

Iran Economics Sanctions Act

All bids shall be accompanied by a sworn and notarized affidavit of compliance with the Iran Economic Sanctions

Act. The District shall not accept a bid that does not include this sworn and notarized affidavit.

Bid Acceptance

Kenowa Hills Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids per MCL 380.1267.
