CITY OF LAWRENCE
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
SALE OF SURPLUS REAL ESTATE
The City of Lawrence’s Office of Planning and Development (Awarding Authority) is soliciting sealed bids for the sale of real estate currently owned by the City. “Request For Proposal” (RFP) packages will be available beginning Monday August 24, 2026. Sealed Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2026, at the City Clerk’s Office, 200 Common Street, Lawrence, MA 01840, at which time they will be opened and recorded. The following properties are for sale:
100 Summer Street and adjacent properties. The proposed sale is for a package of three properties consisting of two vacant lots and third lot with a vacant school building on it. The total square footage of land is 22,403 square feet.
All interested bidders seeking further information about the project are encouraged to submit questions to the Office of Planning & Development.
