The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is seeking highly skilled, private developers with the interest and capacity to undertake the Stamford Transit Oriented Development (TOD)/Joint Development Project at the Stamford Transportation Center (STC). CTDOT is seeking the delivery of a design-build-finance-operate-maintain (DBFOM) multimodal transit facility that is closely integrated and co-developed with Transit Oriented Development within the Project Site. This RFP offers respondents the opportunity to present their relevant qualifications and potential approaches to the TOD/Joint Development project. A primary focus of the RFP is the Proposer’s specific approach to Conceptual Design, Schematic Design, and Design Development using a Progressive Design Build (PDB) approach. Subsequent phases, using a PDB/Finance, Operation and Maintenance delivery, will include final design, construction, operation and maintenance of the TOD/Joint Development project.
