Pre-Bid Meeting Info: There will be a Pre-Bid Conference in the Blackfoot Board Room on Level 4 of the Missoula Public Library, at 10:00 AM on Thursday July 9, 2026. Interested CONTRACTORS are encouraged to attend. A tour of the project site will be conducted after the meeting.

Description: The project generally consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following major items: Living roof system on level 3 and level 4 of the Missoula Public Library with patio addition, new railing, and door alterations at level 3. This work includes the furnishing and installation of equipment, materials and related appurtenances in the following trades: landscaping, carpentry, metal fabrication, openings/demolition, and other related trades. The work will be done under a single contract.
Additional Description: Actual prior experience performing the type of work in this project is an important factor for performance of this project. The Bidder is required to submit at the time of the bid with the bid proposal packet proof of experience performing work of a similar nature. Lack of experience in successfully completing projects of a similar size, with similar complexity may be construed as constituting a non-qualified bidder as determined by the City of Missoula. Prospective bidders may view the bid documents at no cost under ‘view bid documents’. To be considered a plan holder, you must register for a free membership on QuestCDN and download the contract documents in digital form under ‘download bid documents’. There is a non-refundable fee of $15.00 to download the documents and bid the project. You will be asked to sign into your account or create a free QuestCDN account by clicking the ‘join’ link.
