The purpose of this amendment is to correct the text in the description box of the sam.gov posting of the solicitation to read as follows:

This is a request for quote (RFQ) for the Replacement of Alarm System & Electrical Panel at Fort Scott National Historic Site in Fort Scott, KS. This RFQ is for a Firm-Fixed Priced contract using NAICS Code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the size standard is $45 million.

Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary for the Revisions to both men¿s and women¿s stalls for improved efficiency and ABA compliance. Approximately 550 SF Remodel existing Men and Women restrooms to provide a minimum of one ABA and two standard toilet compartments for each. Provide three laves each sex. This contract will remove and replace four air handlers/Furnaces, four heat pumps/condensing units with their line sets and electrical components. These units are located in the Infantry Barracks (HS-6).

PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $250,000 and $500,000

Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Bourbon County, KS will apply.

EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price

This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses.
