Description:

This request for proposal (RFP) is to solicit competitive proposals to provide technical support to California Air Resources Board (CARB) staff during the implementation of the amended Commercial Harbor Craft Regulation (CHC Regulation) that took effect on January 1, 2023.

CARB is seeking a contract with a third-party marine or naval architect to evaluate technical feasibility assessments for E3 applications. The selected Contractor would be required to review feasibility assessment reports and present findings with explanations and descriptions in a final analysis for each review and provide general consulting hours on vessel design questions.
