The Los Angeles County (County) Chief Executive Office (CEO) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit proposals from organizations that can provide Workers’ Compensation Medical Management and Cost Containment (MMCC) Services. The awarded Contractor(s) will control costs in the County’s Workers’ Compensation Program by providing integrated medical management and cost containment services in four primary areas: medical bill review, medical case management/nurse case management, Utilization Review (UR), and Medical Provider Network (MPN) and Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Networks. The County further expects that awarded Contractor(s) will provide assistance to the County in its return-to-work efforts, thus increasing productivity, employee well-being and the quality of the County’s Workers’ Compensation Program.
