Description
The City of Calgary’s Corporate Security is looking to replace their current fleet of five (5) mobile security monitoring units, with an upgraded and consistent configuration of security cameras, communications capabilities and independent power generation and storage on new trailers. The City of Calgary will provision the security cameras using existing supply contracts.
The City of Calgary is looking to procure five identically configured trailers, each with power and cabling/wiring to support four cameras that will be identified and provided by the City of Calgary. Appendix G provides details on the specifications. One of the mandates of the City’s Corporate Security Department is to operate and maintain 24/7 enterprise security systems. This capability utilizes specialized security equipment that helps keep City employees, Council, and citizens safe and secure, as well as protect City assets and information.
