Description

UVic require a simultaneous 3-channel fiber photometry system that contains all the components to allow recording and viewing the fluorophore responses in real-time while behavior and video data is automatically time-locked. The system should be able to acquire, process, and store all these data streams into a single data structure with precise synchronization of event information/neurological data. The researchers prefer to avoid integrating equipment from different companies as that can be time consuming and has a higher chance of errors in analysis. This foundational investment will greatly enhance UVic’s capacity to perform cutting-edge research.
