Project Description: The Borough of Denver Borough Council will accept Proposals for the Main Street Pedestrian Improvement Project on June 13, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Bids will be submitted and all project information will be accessed via PennBid, (www.pennbid.net).
The project includes: ADA curb ramp construction, pedestrian bump outs, curbing pavement restoration, storm sewer, PennDOT catch basins, pavement markings and signage and coordination with East Penn Railroad for grade crossing improvements, traffic control and mobilization and bonds. The project is funded by a grant administered by the Commonwealth Financial Authority
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the BOROUGH Building, 501 Main Street, Denver, PA 17517, on June 5, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
A ten percent (10%) bid security in the form of certified or bank check or bid bond must accompany each sealed proposal.
Wages paid for all Work performed shall comply with the Pennsylvania Minimum Prevailing Wage Act as determined by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Bidders shall be PennDOT prequalified for the work per Publication 408, Section 102.1.
The Borough of Denver reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or portions thereof, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Borough. The Borough also reserves the right, to waive any informalities or irregularities in any Bid.
