| Project Description |
One-Two Sentences
The Ackland Art Museum Addition and Renovation will expand and modernize the museum through a significant addition and targeted renovation of the existing facility. The project will provide enhanced galleries, teaching and collections spaces, visitor amenities, and modern service facilities while strengthening the museum's presence on Franklin Street and its connections to the surrounding campus, landscape, and emerging Arts District. Current project authorization is for advance planning only. The selected firm may be retained through full design and construction at the University's option.
