– PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS
The following changes, omissions and/or additions to the Project Manual and/or Drawings shall
apply to proposals made for and to the execution of the various parts of the work affected
thereby, and all other conditions shall remain the same.
This Addendum has been issued to clarify drawing callouts and answer pre -bid RFIs . Most of
this Addendum corrects drawing sheets in the construction documents.
This Addendum may include revised Project Manual pages and/or Drawings that are to be
inserted in the correct sequence in the Bidding Documents.
Text deleted from the Project Manual by this Addendum is indicated by overstrike. Example:

underline.
Revisions to Drawings are identified by the Addendum number.
Careful note of the Addendum shall be taken by all parties of interest so that the proper
allowances may be made in strict accordance with the Addendum, and that all trades shall be
fully advised in the performance of the work which will be required of the m. Cross -check all
revised documents.
In case of conflict between Drawings, Project Manual, and this Addendum, this Addendum shall
govern.
A. PRE-BID RFIs
1. Q: " Sheet G0.10 – Will the planter be obstructing the fire lane or are the
trucks going to loop around the planter nose?
i. A: The goal of the design is to establish a physical barrier for all
vehicles and enhance circulation. Fire trucks will continue to use
the southeast gate and new gate located next to the lower campus .
2. Q: Sheet G0.11 - Keynote 02104 refers to detail 17/A9.01. However, sheet
A9.01 does not exist in these plans. Please provide the correct
details ,
plan page or correct reference.

3. Q: Sheet G0.11 - Keynotes 321210, 321211, 321224, 321227, 323109 all
refer to site conditions/improvements. Please confirm that these are new.
i. A: Keynotes in question are new items. In our plans, we typically
use a prefix (E) to identify existing elements. All items without (E)
are assumed to be new.
4. Q: Sheet C1.0 - General Note #1 states, “ALL PERMITS WILL BE SECURED
BY THE OWNER…”. The permits are to be paid and pulled by the
Contractor and the Owner will reimburse. Please revise.
i. A: Civil : General Note has been revised
5. Q: Sheets C2.0 and E1.1 are inconsistent regarding the electrical
components being demolished or relocated. Please revise plans to keep
them consistent.
i. A: Civil : Sheet C2.0 has added keynote #9 to indicate which existing
conduits should be removed.
ii. A: Electrical : Existing underground conduits routing through area
where pavement and soil is being removed per C2.0 have been
added to sheet E -1.1.
6. Q: Sheet C2.0 - Keynote 8 indicates areas where the AC is to be
demolished at North -East . This is not indicated on any other plan sheets,
nor is new AC indicated in this area. Please clarify if the asphalt is to be
removed and replaced or protected in place as well as whether or not it is
to be resealed or coated. This will also affect the striping in this area.
i. A: Civil : The asphalt and stalls will remain. The keynote number has
been revised to #7
7. Q: Sheet C3.3 - Please confirm if the striping is existing or new.
i. A: Civ il: New striping will be added in these areas. Keynote #8 has
been revised to reflect the new no parking zone striping,
conforming to MUTCD standards.
8. Q: Sheet C4.0 indicates two new light poles located in the path of travel
per the images below. Please confirm if the locations are correct.
-South from what appears to be a service gate.
i. A: Civil: Both light pole is to be on the demo layer and not shown on
Sheet C4.0 – Utility Plan.
ii. A: Electrical : The location shown for the new light fixture is
incorrect. Contractor shall refer to updated sheet E -1.3 for new site
light fixture locations.

iii. A: Civil : The location shown for the new light fixture is incorrect.
Contractor shall refer to updated sheet E -1.3 for new site light
fixture locations.
9. Q: Sheet C4.0 indicates 3 overflow boxes with (3)3” lines exiting the
boxes. Detail 4/C6.2 indicates 1 pipe opening instead of 3. Please provide
detail confirming the number, size and spacing of the outflow pipes.
i. A: Civil : Detail 4/C6.2 is a typical detail for the catch basin.
Additional detail was included illustrating how three 3 -inch pipes
daylight through the curb, as called out in Keynote #10. All other
relevant information can be found on Sheet C4.0, the Utility Plan .
10. Q: Sheet C6.3 detail 1 - Will a waterproofing barrier be required at this
wall?
i. A: Civil : The detail now includes Mirafi FW300 Filter Fabric.
11. Q: Sheet OS -C1.0 - General Note #1 states, “ALL PERMITS WILL BE
SECURED BY THE OWNER…”. Please revise that all permits will be paid
and pulled by the Contractor with fees reimbursed by the Owner.
i. A: Civil : It appears that this is an outdated version of the offsite set.
We have a new update from 2025 -08 -04.
12. Q: Sheet OS -C2.0 - Keynote #2 refers to the Traffic Control Plan. However,
there is no Traffic Control Plan in this set of drawings. Please provide the
Traffic Control Plan for reference.
i. A: Civil : Keynote #2 was revised to refer to the signal modification
plan for further information. Which contractor in construction
should review the traffic engineer’s drawings before installing or
relocating the conduits for the traffic signal pole .
13. Q: Sheet OS -C2.0 - Keynote #7 references sheet OS -C6.0/detail 5 for the
trench and backfill but this detail is not provided. Please provide the
trenching/backfill detail.
i. A: Civil : Keynote #7 has been changed to "Existing curb and gutter,
wall, ac … to remain" on the 2025 -08 -04 offsite set. Initially, we
planned to connect the storm drain system to the city main;
however, this requires additional municipal approval. As a result, we
will simply daylight through the curb and allow the water to sheet
flow toward the street.
14. Q: Sheet L1.00 states, “Excess soil shall be removed from site”. Please
add note, “at Contractor’s expense.”
i. A: Landscape : Note has been added to the drawings.

15. Q: Sheet L1.51 calls for metal edging. We recommend a concrete mow
curb in lieu of metal edging for long term use. Please confirm if
acceptable.
i. A: Landscape : We take no exceptions to the concrete mow curb
however it will need to be shown as an add alternate to understand
the cost impact.
16. Q: Sheet A0.01 – Keynotes 02485 and 02080 are not consistent with sheet
E1.1. Please clarify.

Please provide a description for this keynote or provide correct keynote

i. A: The keynote 024621 is being updated to keynote 02462.
18. Q: Sheet A0.01 - Keynote 02173 indicates “saw cut on (E) concrete as
required for new light conduits”. Please provide a detail for this work.
i. A: fix our plan to adjust the demo scope – then ref civil and lands
19. Q: Sheet A1.00 - Keynote 321222 is not legible. Please clarify the verbiage.
i. A: Keynote 321222 now reads as “NEW 60 X 48 INCHES OUTDOOR
WHEELCHAIR WAITING AREA”.
20. Q: Sheet A1.00 – The service gate indicated on Keynote 02105 is new.
The existing gate is indicated as new . Please , revise Keynotes and plans
accordingly.
i. A: Keynote 02105 (yellow) now reads a 323101. Keynote 323101
(greed) now reads as 02105.

i. A: The keynote presentation was clarified for better legibility.
23. Q: Sheet A1.10 - The detail callout and keynotes call for a single service
gate, however, the plan shows a double gate. Confirm which option to bid.
i. A: Detail has been updated to match the plan.
24. Q: Sheet A1.10 - The bollard light indicated below is not indicated on the
electrical sheets. Please confirm if a new lighting bollard is to be installed
in this location.
