One-Two Sentences
CIP-26137 - Burnett-Womack BSL-3 Suite Expansion The University's Department of Comparative Medicine (DCM) and School of Medicine (SOM) are renovating and expanding BSL3 suites at the Burnett-Womack building. This project will reconfigure approximately 5,000-sf of the 13,900-sf floor plate, and renovate approximately 5,000-sf of the remainder of the ninth floor of Burnett-Womack to create an approximately 10,000-sf BSL3 Containment suite. Improvements to the base building environmental systems are expected, including but not limited to: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, emergency power, and rooftop penthouse mechanical equipment installation.
