On-Call Grant Writing Services

Pierce County seeks consultants to provide On-Call Grant Writing Services for federal and state grants to support the Planning and Public Works department. These grants can include, but are not limited to, opportunities that fund infrastructure and maintenance, emergency management, transportation, and land acquisition projects. The selected consultants will be responsible for researching, drafting, and submitting grant proposals, as well as providing ongoing support throughout the grant process to maximize funding opportunities for municipal projects and programs.

The County intends to award contracts to multiple consultant firms as part of this solicitation.

The Pierce County Planning and Public Works department utilizes grants to finance significant portions of its projects. The goal is to achieve at least a 50% match to each dollar spent on capital projects. The County is seeking experienced grant writers to provide support to ensure it does not miss valuable opportunities to maximize its budget.
