Prequalification Trial for Selection Polymer Supplier/Manufacturer

The City of Bozeman (City) is seeking a supplier/manufacturer(s) (“supplier”) to supply the polymer for a screw press at the Bozeman Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) for a three-year period at a price to be negotiated and agreed by the parties annually.

There will be two steps to the polymer supplier selection process. Interested suppliers must first participate in prequalification jar testing and full-scale performance tests at the WRF. Based on the results of the trials, suppliers whose polymer has met the performance criteria for this facility will then be invited to submit separate sealed bids presenting their cost to supply the polymer for the facility for the first year of the contract. This invitation to bid will be separately advertised, but bids from polymer suppliers that have not undergone the prequalification and full-scale performance testing will not be accepted or reviewed.

• Bench-scale laboratory jar testing will take place from December 16 ^th , 2024 through January 10th, 2025.
• Full-scale performance testing will take place from January 10 ^th , 2025 through January 31st, 2025.
• The City anticipates advertising for bids from prequalified suppliers in February 2025 with a projected bid opening on February 14th, 2025.
