Notice of Intent to Award a Contract for
Managed Services - Software Asset Management (SAM) Compass
City of Coquitlam
NOI No. 24-103

Notice is hereby given by the City of Coquitlam (“City”) of its intent to contract with Compugen Systems Inc. for a thirty-six month period commencing December 1, 2024 for the following service:
  1. Managed Services - Software Asset Management (SAM) Compass
with an anticipated total value of $462,000.00.
The City of Coquitlam has chosen not to call for vendor proposals for the following reasons:
  1. The vendor has specific knowledge and demonstrated experience of the proprietary software;
  1. Manufacturer’s warranty may be void if serviced by unapproved vendors;
  1. It is the City’s opinion that there is currently no other vendor able to provide the services; and
  1. The impact of introducing a new software and support provider would affect cost and resources.


Vendors able to provide the same product and services are to submit information and rationale in writing, quoting the NOI number and name sent to email: bid@coquitlam.ca
