Adult Detention Center Meal Service RFI Survey

This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued to solicit information from qualified food service providers regarding inmate food services at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center. The County is exploring the potential to enhance meal quality while maintaining cost efficiency. The purpose of this RFI is to obtain market intelligence on service capabilities, industry best practices, and estimated budget ranges for increasing food quality while meeting all applicable nutritional and regulatory requirements.

This RFI is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation or an obligation to procure services. Responses will help the County assess the feasibility and budgetary implications of potential service improvements and inform future procurement strategies.

This RFI invites participants to submit non-price information about the availability of specified types of supplies and services. The RFI is not a procurement method and will not result in a participant receiving a contract. Responding to the RFI is not a prerequisite to participate in a future procurement(s) and does not obligate the County to conduct a future procurement. Further, a response to this RFI does not provide any direct advantage to the participant in potential future Requests for Proposals (¿RFPs¿). Responding to the RFI will give all participants the ability to educate the County with regard to the capabilities available in the market to meet the stated potential needs of the County. All information received in a participant¿s response will be subject to open records.
