Randall House Restoration Project-Grant #237443
Description:

Discoveries in Sculpture, Inc. will receive sealed bids for Randall House Restoration EPF No. 237443 located at 22 Front Street, Binghamton, NY 13905 prior to 12:00 P.M. (noon) on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after that time will not be accepted. Bids will be received at the Roberson Museum, 30 Front Street, Binghamton, NY 13905, Att: Keith Oberg. It is deemed the responsibility of all prospective bidders to ensure that bids are delivered in a timely manner to the location and office of the person indicated herein. The Work of the project will be let in a single prime contract for General Construction Work. Electronic Contract Documents may be obtained after Monday, June 16, 2025 from Dataflow, Inc., (Printer) 19 S. Washington Street., Binghamton NY 13903, 607.772.2001 Contract Documents may be examined in electronic format in the online digital portal (NY Planroom). Bidders will be able to access or purchase the project online at the Printer's website https://www.godataflow.com/nyplanroom/ where the bid set, addenda, and current bidder log may be viewed. Printed copies or PDF files can be obtained for purchase. A fully executed Contractor’s Qualification Statement AIA Document A305 and Exhibits A, B, C D and E, Non-Collusive Bidding Certification, Statement of Bidder’s Qualifications for Historic Restoration Work, Bid Security, Sexual Harassment Policy and Training Certification, and Certificate of Compliance with the Iran Divestment Act must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A one hundred percent (100%) Payment Bond and a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond will be required of the successful bidder at the time of contract signing. A pre-bid meeting was held on Thursday June 26th, 2025 at 10:00 am at the front entrance to Randall House located at 22 Front Street, Binghamton, NY 13905. Attendance is not mandatory for submitting a bid, but is strongly recommended. Additional site visits requests will be accommodated with 48-hours notice pending owner availability. Prospective bidders may request clarifications of the Bid Documents from the Architect by contacting Thaler Reilly Wilson Architecture and Preservation, LLP, by e-mail to apetruzzelli@trw-arch.com . All questions must be submitted via e-mail, no phone calls will be accepted. All e-mails must have the subject line "Randall House Restoration". Discoveries in Sculpture, Inc. has been and will continue to be an equal opportunity organization. This property has been determined to possess historic (e.g., architectural, engineering, artistic) significance and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Bidders must have a minimum of 5 years successful experience in completion of similar projects for State, National or locally registered landmarks. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Contract will be awarded by Discoveries in Sculpture, Inc. which reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids. By order of Discoveries in Sculpture, Inc.
