TO: All Prospective Bidders: The following are clarifications and changes to the Contract
Documents for the above referenced project based on questions received by the Village:
Question: Could you please clarify whether the drawings correspond to the correct project
and whether pricing for the alternates is required?
Response: The attached drawings correspond to the correct project. The "terrace"
referenced is located at the south entrance of Village Hall. Bidders are instructed to
reference Addendum #1which has a new pricing sheet.
Question: Could you please advise where this document can be found? Re: Attachment B
Response: Attachment B's cover sheet was included in error. All project specifications are
located on the plan sheets. Bidders must comply with the specifications on the plan
sheets, as well as any general conditions in the bid form.
Question: Could you please let us know who we should coordinate with and what dates
and times are available for a site visit?
Response: The site is open to the public and accessible at all times. No coordination is
required; prospective bidders may visit at their convenience.
Question: Upon further inspection of the bid document provided in Addendum 1, Alternate
1 is labeled as "Base Bid" rather than "Reuse Existing Terrace Foundations." Where should
I put price deductions to Reuse Existing Terrace Foundations?
Response: Addendum #1 renamed Alternate 1 from "Reuse Existing Terrace Foundations"
to "Base Bid - South Entrance Rehabilitation" to align with the revised Schedule of Prices.
Reusing the existing terrace foundations is not a separate deduction but rather is the base
scope of work and should be priced under Alternate 1 (Base Bid) as shown in the revised
Schedule of Prices in Addendum #1. There is no additional deduction line for this item.
