Public Safety Building 6th Level Asbestos Abatement

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The City of Galesburg / Knox County ETSB will receive Bids for the Public Safety Building – Asbestos Abatement at the City of Galesburg, City Hall – Erickson Conference room, Galesburg Illinois 61401, until 11:00 AM local time on November 20, 2024, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Questions prior to bid opening shall be submitted electronically to cbasham@klingner.com . Include in the Subject Line: PSB Asbestos Abatement – Question Submittal. Reference Specification Section or Plan Sheet in email. No question shall be taken over the phone.

A non-mandatory pre-bidding conference will be held on November 7 at 11 am, at the project site (main lobby) located at 150 S Broad Street, Galesburg, IL 61401.

A certified check or bank draft, payable to City of Galesburg / Knox County ETSB, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid.

Compliance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws, rules and regulations is required.

City of Galesburg / Knox County ETSB reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept other than the lowest bid, and to waive any irregularities or informalities in bids received.

Bids may be held by City of Galesburg / Knox County ETSB for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the Contract.
