PART 1 - GENERAL
The Joint Municipal Water and Sewer Commission will accept bids for:
Project Title: Town of Pelion Water Main Improvements Phase 2
Project Description:
The project will consist of the installation of 1,699 linear feet (LF) of 10-Inch Ductile Iron Pipe with 3
replacement fire hydrants to replace the aging water distribution system. The project spans from the
intersection of Magnolia Street and Pine Street to the intersection of Maple Street and Pine Street.
This project is being funded by a loan from the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services
(SCDES) State Revolving Fund (SRF). Bidders must comply with all applicable state and federal
requirements identified in the bid documents, including but not limited to Davis-Bacon and American
Iron and Steel (AIS) provisions.
