Training Professional for EPA's Renovation, Repair, and Painting Program

The City is requesting a qualified Consultant to provide instruction, training, and certification to contractors, property management staff, and tradespeople who engage in renovation and remodeling of pre-1978 residential structures. Additionally, the awarded Consultant will provide similar training services to various Pueblo City and Pueblo County employees administering or inspecting subject housing programs. The training services shall meet the requirements for the US Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule.

The purpose of the program is to further the training of local contractors, property management staff, and tradespeople in accordance with HUD and EPA lead-based paint regulations with an emphasis on rehabilitating pre-1978 child-occupied housing using CDBG, HOME, and NSP funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
