Title: Tree Common Stand Exam FY2026

Bid Synopsis: The DNR proposes to contract for technical forestry services to conduct stand examinations in identified areas using the Common Stand Exam (CSE) protocol on USFS land. The purpose is to obtain the site, setting, and tree characteristics required to identify stand conditions and capabilities in providing the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest (CNNF) information with which management determinations for natural resources will be made. This project is divided into four areas that will be awarded seperately: the Great Divide (GD) District – Bear Cub SE Project of the CNNF, the Lakewood Laona (LKLN) District of the CNNF, Eagle River – Florence Ranger District (ERFL) and the the Great Divide (GD) District – West Namekagon Project of the CNNF. The deadline to have all work completed and approved for each Unit of this contract is September 30, 2026. NO EXTENSIONS WILL BE GIVEN FOR ANY REASON. Contracts not completed by this date will be terminated.
