RFP 25261009, Noatak Airport Relocation Appraisals

Note: This project is a regional priority due to the rapid advancement of erosion at the existing Noatak airport.

The Northern Region State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Division of Preconstruction Services, Right of Way Section is soliciting for professional services to appraise 7 fee/easement acquisition parcels and 28 TCE’s for the Noatak Airport Relocation project.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately October 2025 through December2028.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $150,000 and $200,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available SEPTEMBER 25, 2025 , and may be downloaded from our web site at: https://dot.alaska.gov/procurement/awp/awp-rfp-cal.cfm , select Northern Region and unclick the “Over $200,000” amount box. Or the RFP may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at the Engineering Services Building, Room 3, 2301 Peger Road, Fairbanks, Alaska.  Persons residing outside the City of Fairbanks may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 451-2247 or TDD number 711 or 1-800-770-8973. (for Hearing Impaired, requires special equipment).  There is no charge for the RFP package.

FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS IN THE RFP FOR SUBMITTING PROPOSALS: Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received at the address indicated on the RFP no later than OCTOBER 2, 2025 , 4:00 p.m., prevailing time.

The proposals may be dropped off at our office.  A locked Drop Box is located at the outside entry of the Tech Services Building #3 (Contracts Building Main Parking Lot West Side Entrance).  Call or Text (907) 799-5632 when you place documents in the Drop Box and we will retrieve and timestamp your documents.

Individuals with disabilities, including the hearing impaired, who may need auxiliary aids, services, and/or special modifications to submit a proposal should contact the TTY number 711 or 1-800-770-8973, no later than one week prior to the submittal date to make any necessary arrangements.
