The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), in accordance with FAA Order 1600.69D, has a requirement to procure Contract Security Officer (CSO) services to increase physical security and safeguard FAA employees, facilities, and United States Government property and assets from loss, theft, damage, unauthorized use, criminal acts, espionage, sabotage, and terrorism.
This Screening Information Request (SIR) is for CSO services in the Western Service Area (WSA). A complete listing of included facilities can be found in the attached SIR documents.
The Contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, transportation, training, and management necessary to provide CSO services in accordance with the stated requirements. The Contractor must implement all necessary scheduling and personnel and equipment control procedures to ensure timely accomplishment of all CSO service requirements.
6/17/2025 Update:
The purpose of this update is to confirm that this requirement is being conducted as a full and open/unrestricted competition. No set aside and/or tiered evaluation will be used.
7/8/2025 Update:
Offerors are advised that questions have been received for the subject SIR and the Government is currently reviewing questions and drafting responses and amendment documentation. With the anticipated amendment, the government will extend the proposal due date to allow offerors reasonable time to review changes and submit proposals.
7/15/2025 Update:
Offerors are advised that the Government continues to review questions and draft amendment documentation. The Government has provided a new TENTATIVE proposal due date with this SAM update. Depending on the release of the pending amendment, the Government may provide another revised proposal due date.
