The City of New Haven Parks Department supports various community events, functions and activities throughout the year that require a towable mobile stage to be set up at various locations for performances. This solicitation is for the procurement of a mobile stage trailer that can be attached to a Parks Truck by a hitch, with the approximate preferred size for the stage to be 20' x 16' and having a wind resistance of approx. 115 mph or greater. The stage must be able to be erected on site with little or none whatsoever manual assembly or set up. The mobile stage should be easily maneuvered into parks and have controls that allow simple operation and functionality. The roof structure and rigging should be resistant to wear and tear and rain proof. The stage should have high power hydraulics to raise and lower roof and other features that allow banners to be hung safely. Certified stamped documents by a professional and all technical documents supplied with transportation to New Haven Parks at 180 Park Road, Hamden, CT 06517 as well as a training course for up to 4-6 technicians including training expenses associated with instructor in the responding cost proposal.
The City of New Haven Parks Department requires durable and serviceable stage equipment that can be maintained while providing a level of customer service and support not only for staff to operate and utilize however in turn provide service to the greater arts and cultural community in the Elm City. New Haven Parks supports over 50+ large events each year, with expectations for those numbers to be increased in the coming years. This new stage shall replace an older model stage as the Department's frontline 1st choice mobile stage, with the current stage being shifted to the secondary backup stage.
