Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho, at 502 N. 4th St., P.O. Box

83720, Boise, Idaho 83720-0072 until 2:00 p.m. local time, on Friday, March 27, 2026, for DPW Project 25070

SICI Main Dorm, HVAC, Idaho Division of Corrections, Kuna, Idaho.

A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include the contractor shall remove the existing

evaporative cooling units and pressure relief exhaust fans at each wing. There are a total of 2 evaporative cooling units

and 4 pressure relief exhaust fans that serve the wings. The contractor shall install new packaged rooftop units for each

wing. These 2 new units will be set on new rooftop curbs. The supply ducting will be connected to the existing supply

air ducting and extended throughout each wing. The return ducting will be ran across the roof and connected into the

existing pressure relief openings. A new gas line will be ran from the existing gas meter up to the roof and connect to

the 2 new rooftop units. Route new electrical service to each of the units from the main switchgear in the basement.

The contractor shall remove the existing roof mounted evaporative cooling unit that serves the upper common area.

The contractor shall install a new multi-split ductless system for the upper floor common area. Route new electrical

service the units from the main switchgear in the basement.

Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Thursday, March 19, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m., prevailing local time, at

SICI, 13900 S. Pleasant Valley Road, Kuna, Idaho 83634. Bidders are encouraged to attend.

One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed mechanical and electrical

subcontractors from the Design Professional for a refundable deposit of $100.00. Others may obtain documents at

cost, non-refundable.

A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public Works

Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.

Estimated Cost: $477,400.00
