Sealed bids will be received on behalf of the Brown Memorial Foundation at the office of Baker McMillan Architects, PA until close of business at 5:00 p.m. on October 22, 2026 C.D.T. for the furnishing of all labor and materials specified and the performance of all work in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications for:

Abilene, Kansas 67410

The scope of work of the project includes adding a 4-1/2 story 2600 s.f. addition to house a new elevator, stairs, and related remodeling in the existing building. The project is being funded by the owner.

Plans and specifications will be available on September 29, 2026, for examination and can be obtained from the Architect, Baker McMillan Architects, by emailing admin@bakermcmillan.com . Plans may also be provided electronically.

Contract time will be set in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and Agreement. OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive irregularities in bidding.

No Bidder may withdraw a bid for a period of Thirty (30) days after the date of the opening of the Bids.

A pre-bid conference will be held October 6, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at the project site located at 1974 Hawk Road, Abilene, Kansas 67410. It is strongly urged that prospective masonry sub-contractors attend.
